Controlling the Narrative
What is done in love, is done well.
Vincent Van Gogh
At the heart of everything we are talking
about it the greatest love. My words are coming to you from the centre of my
being, and that voice is in concert with the soul of the universe. I have
travelled the path of life, firstly naturally being in balance with my soul,
then: choosing the path that took me off my course, but eventually led me to
the realisation that brought clarity and power back to me, as I aligned once
again with my inner being’s guidance.
I am not here telling you my story for
myself. I am here for you, my friend. I am here for you who may still be lost
in the darker woods of life. In shining my light as brightly as I can, I am
hoping that the love inside me will remind you to reconnect with the same love
and light inside you. For you.
The narrative inside your mind is vitally
important, and directly connected with the outcomes you meet (read: create) in
your life. The thoughts you are thinking are coming from two sources only. One
source is love, pure love. And the other source is all that love isn’t, which
is deeply rooted in fear. It can take many dimensions and names, but its source
– if it isn’t love, will be fear. And there is one simple little thing by which
you can recognise what is the source of your thoughts. Keep reading, I will
come to it and share it with you, my friend.
I know, we often believe we are justified
in thinking and/or feeling a certain way, and all because either someone or
something caused us to feel this way. This is never true, for it is indeed our choosing of our own reaction that
causes us to feel something. Read that again: what we feel is not caused by
anything outside of us, we choose how we
feel. This is easy if you know how to be in control of your mind. And the
rest of your life’s happiness and fulfillment rests on your ability to control
your thoughts, so I would say this is the most important thing to tackle before
we can turn to making our dreams come true, one by one.
Remember the paragraph above the last one?
Fear (and all those emotions that it causes
– rage, disappointment, doubt, envy, judgment) is always irrational and it is
always based on something that has either already happened, or something that
may never happen, but it has nothing to do with the present moment.
And – the present moment is the only place where we exist, where we are.
That is how easy it is to tell whether the source of your current
thought is love or fear.
If you are feeling good in yourself, your
thoughts are coming from love, from one and only source of love deep inside you
and everywhere around you. And if you are not feeling good in this moment, ask
yourself what would your thought be if its source is indeed love. Do you see
that you can actually pick the
thought you want to think, depending on how
you want to feel, and what you want your life to be - because the creator
of your life is really you. You are the part of the powerful all there is. And
being part of the source of love and life, makes you the source also. Not just
‘like the source’, more like ‘you are the source’, same as the drop of ocean
has the entire ocean in it, remember?
Choosing the source of your thought to be
love, you are choosing to win at life. By controlling the narrative you will
learn to control your mind. Well, it is about time, because it was for far too
long ruling your life.
An After Thought
Natural fear is a good thing, as it comes
from our instinct to protect our life - and natural love is a good thing, as it
comes from our instinct to stay open and vulnerable in order to achieve the
connection. But with our warped definitions of them we have changed them so
much that they have almost swapped the roles, and fear instead of love is
guiding us. Time to take account of things, look at our thoughts and be in
charge of our mind, for a change. For a real, lasting change – one that will
bring you peace and happiness forever.
Remember – You Are Safe Here
This is the sacred place between our souls. Thank you for sharing your visions, dreams and ideas. Your courage to be vulnerably seen will always be respected, and you will be treated with nothing but kindness and compassion. ♡
