How we ran a retreat before anyone knew something like this existed – a look into our history....

This story starts a long time before I was born, even before my parents were born because this was the way of life my grandparents lived: wholesome in every sense that profoundly layered word can hold, and then some. Underlining the healthy lifestyle was deeply rooted love for one another, for their family, and for humanity as a whole. They very much focused on everything that unites one human being with another, what makes our souls one – which makes me the most privileged to have been born into this family.

It was uncommon for people to put aside their ego, and lead with love – but it was also the most natural thing, and they both happened to agree on this and recognise it in each other. I know they were both spiritually rich, and always courageous and just in their relationships with everyone. This love they radiated towards everyone, and towards life – was reflected back to them from everything and all around them. To say they were popular, would be an understatement. To say they were loved, would be an understatement. To say they were adored and inspiring – now we’re getting closer.

My parents resemble them a lot, with character traits, their own relationship, but most of all with the unreserved love that can’t be contained, instead – which radiates from them in every direction. My family was always a magnet inside our extended family. Every point of connection, initial sparks that brought big ideas, the thread that holds us all together – that always came from them. To say that they are adored and looked up to as role models – is a fair statement.

Our Dream House

History of our house is definitely a stand-alone, and much longer tale – one that we will save for another day. But right here, inside today’s story, it is one of its four central pillars. We have already seen the first two. One – my grandparents, Two – our way of life, Three – our dream house, Four – our legacy.

Because it was our dream, the dream we created and built ourselves – literally sifting the sand, and passing building blocks, bricks, stones, wooden beams and roof tiles between our hands. One of my uncles was a builder, so obviously he had overseen our efforts, but everyone participated – weekend after weekend, in between school and work, season after season and year after year. The goal was to make it livable, yet constantly expanding, allowing it to grow with us.

The Continuing

What my grandparents started, we carried on living. Even from the dream to reality, it was the process of connecting and uniting human spirit. And then through every occasion, it has always been and still remains the place of connection and healing. Those who come in pain, leave free of pain. There is a sacred practice in growing and preparing food with love. Body, soul and spirit feel at home here. As if all the souls conspired (or merely hear the whisper of the great soul of the universe) only one word is always used by everyone to describe this place: paradise. But what is its most amazing quality – when you visit it even once, it stays with you forever – its peace becomes part of you, something you never forget, nor give up. It helps you to unmistakably and instinctively recognise the real you.

My family’s legacy is to sprinkle and shine the magic of this place to the world, through me. If you ever feel lost and lonely, remember these words, my friend. I know exactly how to help you reorientate yourself and find your way once again.

Stay connected and keep close, as I am creating something special just for you.

* * * * The Exclusive Update – 333 Days to Dream * * * *

1.
Isnt that a special number? Today was all about reconnecting the spirit of my family with the place where I live now – remembering that all is always here and now, right inside me. Yes, it takes a while to get your life back on track when you forget your power and cut yourself short by playing small, much smaller than you know you can. It takes a while to keep yourself on course; it takes time, patience, kindness, respect and love towards the soul inside you. It takes discipline, dedication and persistence. Its not easy to start, but once you get there, you keep practising more of those things that are good for you and for everyone you come in contact with – and you, day by day, build a better version of you. And the rewards that come are deep and rich, smooth and lasting. They open into ideas, inspiration and flow from one to the next. Wouldnt change it for the world.

2.
The feeling of today is focus and accomplishment. What started as another busy week and had me holding my breath to keep up with it all, thankfully I transformed into a more steady and productive time.

3.
Realising that the next months need exact plans and more action. I am happy I am on track to start making the step by step structured plan for the next 333 Days to Dream project. Finalising the new This is Your Moment podcast episode. Its called Dream Within a Dream. Watch out here for all the information tomorrow, my friend. There is some exciting news I am sharing!

Remember – You Are Safe Here

This is the sacred place between our souls. Thank you for sharing your visions, dreams and ideas. Your courage to be vulnerably seen will always be respected, and you will be treated with nothing but kindness and compassion. ♡
