What Reality Are You Going To Pick?

Life is the finest art there is, and the journey to self-realisation has to be our main priority. Only when we are conscious of the choices we are constantly making, can we then become a deliberate creator and live a life of balance and peace. From that place of pure love and inner clarity - everything in our life is possible, beautiful and enlightened.
As ever, the reason for my writing is to offer you the benefit of my insights, so that you feel inspired to empower yourself and remember your powerful nature – the very nature that we share with the creator of the universe. There is no doubt that living this life is a very opportunity to create both meaning and expansion of not just our own consciousness, but with it, elevating the entire humanity. (Of course, you can always choose not to bother, in which case we will find ourselves with fewer points of contact until our realities are so far removed from each other that we never meet again.)
I am amused, though not surprised at all, that the inspiration for this subject reveals itself within the Business Series concept. From the start, I have not only felt the connection between art, business and life – but I have in fact indicated many times that they are in my view inseparable from each other. They are so aligned with my purpose and passion, and they are the basis of my reality. Should you wish to gain more perspective about the reality you are creating – a deeper look inside you will be necessary.
Do not worry about being able to follow word for word, my friend. All you need is an open heart and willingness to discover what’s on your own heart, with all the curiosity and love you have inside you. There is no requirement for you to be an expert on any subject we touch upon in order for you to fully benefit from this experience, but it is essential for you to remain as mindful and deliberate as you can possibly be.
My Own Experience as Example
I could have chosen to continue believing someone else’s perception of my life. I could have chosen to stay ‘safe and comfortable’ in paid employment. I could have chosen to believe that in order to run a successful art business you need to follow certain steps, to use the psychology of selling, to pick a model which has worked rather than ‘trying to reinvent the wheel’ – oh, I’ve heard all of those. I could have chosen to think that art is for the privileged few and that it takes a whole lot of something that I don’t have (God knows what: money, social status, connections) to be a successful artist. I could have chosen all of that and more – and the price for it would have been my joy, my happiness, my dream, my deep knowing of who I am, my belief in myself. Ultimately, I would have sacrificed my reality in exchange for someone else’s. (Please note that they could not have asserted anything in my experience, only I would have been willingly participating in giving up my own power, state of being and freedom to choose my own path.)
Whether You Get It or Not
Consciously, or unconsciously - ultimately, you focus on and therefore create, the reality you live. So, might as well pick a great one!
You Are a Powerful Creator
Put everything I have shared with you so far in the context of taking all of your life into your own hands. Even if you are not sure how that happens, what you need to do – just remain open to believing that the universe will create through you and with you - if you allow it. And there is absolutely no exaggeration. Everything is possible, only to the degree of your allowing.
(Read that last paragraph again, please. Yes, it is necessary.)
Depend less on the outside influences, no matter how ‘real’ they seem to you. What is real is the power you have access to from within your own being. Your inner being will guide you to the best outcomes, and help you navigate to recognising, creating and living your best version – inside your best reality.
Your Indicators
Change nothing if your everyday life is feeling peaceful, harmonious, blissful, joyous, happy, exciting – like you are able to express your full potential in every moment. You are already living inside your optimum reality, and everything you experience can only continue to enhance, deepen and broaden that state of awareness. We’ll probably keep seeing each other often on our journey, my friend.
However, if the ‘reality’ you are experiencing is feeling uncomfortable and depressing inside your soul – know that you have attached yourself to a version of reality that is not promoting, nor supporting individuality, freedom, intuition, and the only true empowerment: from within each person.
Uniquely Yours
There is a key inside the two words above. Live completely true to who you are and you are already in concert with the bigger part of you – you are already on the way to living your best life. Make sure your heart remains open, and that love and faith are freely flowing to it and through it. Give all your attention to the reality in which you, and every living thing - are as happy to be alive as can be.
Allow your inner being to guide you in all aspects of your life, and pay no attention to what outside voices are saying – good or bad. Sure, like-hearted is always welcome in co-creation, but you have all the guidance you need inside you. Never stop listening to your inner voice. Particularly pay attention to the path that is being lit up for you and never sacrifice that connection for anything else in the world. There is no substitute for the pure love coming from inside your being. That is where your power is, that is the reality you are guided to create and live.

Today was a good day to deep dive into the vision and play with some ideas in the mood board type of way. Having shared some of those ideas last month, I realise that the vision is still expanding and getting clearer. Although I have not decided on colours, there are a couple of schemes that are coming forefront. Both have as a basis these raw linen colours, but one is completely staying within that palette with champagne and antique silver accents, whilst the other one is very much a contrasting scheme with pale linens and really rich, deep, dark black and navy. It was so interesting and vivid, and I did spend some time really trying to imagine how both could play out in the space here – and I love both of them. How will I ever pick one? :)

Peace – that is the predominant feeling inside me today. Not just any peace, but deeply satisfying, grounding and uplifting sort of peace. One that moves the soul in ever-present gratitude. Of course, this is connected with the 365 Days to Dream home renovation project – and also beyond – it permeates from the state of being and inspires the same state of being simultaneous. Magic.

I have something in mind for tomorrow. Weather is calling me outside, and I have had to stop myself from taking my Danish retro classic set of 3 coffee tables outside to start working on! But I just want to be sure about the overall scheme before I commit to a paintbrush. However, something else was calling me today, and I am curious to see if I might get to do it tomorrow. Today, the work on the website took precedent. But tomorrow it might be my latest painting that wants most of my time. We’ll see.
