5 Things No One Tells You About Originality

One could argue (and one just will) that originality is the underlying reason for your existence. Sure, we are here to find our way back into self-realisation, but through a lens that is both unique to us and pure in its resemblance to the source. How’s that for purpose, my dear friend?
Without further ado, I want to jump straight into the five things I have isolated as the crucial turning points that greatly aid our return to innocence, the return to the authentic self. Today, we are observing them through the filter of Fine Art, but you are welcome and invited to take this to your own existence in all the ways it applies solely to you.
1.
No one outside you can teach you originality. In all the institutions created for the purpose of learning (and yes, even in those latest online opportunities which come under the guise of {L}earning) – no one will even pretend to teach you to think for yourself, because a particular teacher might know a great method – but the learning, thinking, applying, and taking it beyond of that which is here now – is only measured from within. Only you know when things resonate and when you feel steady enough to remove the stabilisers. If you ever had the pleasure of learning to ride a bicycle – you will know that it never takes too long to let go! So, learn to trust yourself.
2.
The more you love, the closer to your original truth you are. Undoubtedly, we are talking here about the pure state of loving, awareness, appreciation, light. What you can reach and hold (within yourself – for yourself and radiating in every direction from you) – will draw you closer to the truth of realising all you want and seek to know about your journey through life.

Lean towards your inner guidance – there is all the validation you ever need. The more aligned you are with your purpose, the more in tune with yourself – the clearer and more precise, unmistakable knowledge you will have reflected back - right in the great mirror inside yourself. Keep away from needing the opinion and validation of another being (we are all one, after all – and they will only reflect back to you what you already feel – so go directly there!). Especially steer clear of the feedback that you would deem negative. They fall into two categories – one will be already resonant inside your being and you will already be going deeper within for answers to your arising questions in your constant quest for learning (this has to be followed by undeniable joy, that’s your indicator) – and the other might be coming from the state of consciousness that is still wrapped up in the bubble of delusion – recognise it for what it is, go deeper into yourself for understanding and appreciation, but unless your vibration is steady and high, you risk by engaging it on the same level. In other words, treat feedback as the sun treats the clouds, they may be there, but it doesn’t affect its power of light.

Realise that every thought and idea someone had before you is still present vibrationally. Notice that they come and go and worry not about those that aren’t resonant with your soul, just let them be. You don’t have to get attached to any of them. Similarly, you have access to the greatest thoughts ever-present, let’s say even of the likes of Leonardo da Vinci and Nikola Tesla. When you ponder those thoughts, again – look at them as your higher self would want you to see them. Be brave to step into bigger shoes, knowing that you are supported in your sincerity to surrender to the expansion of the creation. That power is absolutely within you, it’s even closer and much subtler than what you call ‘you’ (i.e. your mind). Align with it and create, my friend. The result will be joy on every level imaginable and from every viewpoint of awareness available.
5.
When you have focused on and aligned with your purpose – don’t indulge and waste time by waiting for anything. You don’t need a lightning bolt from the sky to come and confirm that you are ready to act on your unique potential. Your inner voice is confirming this to you in very subtle, but also unmistakable and never in the double-entendre category. Do use and apply your talents, stay true to the song of your heart – and do what is necessary to make sure you don’t create doubt and construct fear (which are the energetic results of focusing and persistently thinking thoughts which are fundamentally and actually not true!).

Beautiful creative energy today – I love days like this. Of course, my day is dedicated to art, not just on the blog, but also Monday belongs to painting. Especially because of the new collection in the making, it’s important to know that I have uninterrupted time for working, at least once a week, and then wherever the inspiration wants to take me. Another plus to this week is the good weather from the outset. Lots and lots of sunshine and great quality daylight is the best match for this activity.
2.
I know you can guess that the feeling is one of bliss, peace and joy that is seldom contained by the words alone. Use a generous dose of imagination to help you get all of its meaning. Imagine what it is that you love doing the most – and then you know, my friend.

More of the same for tomorrow? Yes, please! Count me in. I am also working on a couple of digital projects at the moment, and moving things along on the 365 Days to Dream front whenever time allows. The energy is never stagnant, though. Most days I have a dedicated time to a specific task towards this goal, but the time and activity vary from day to day, having decided that the painting is definitely a priority until the new collection is released.
