Unique vs. Repeatable

Indeed, my friend – today’s subject can and
does apply to all three of the special series, as it is very close to my heart
and mind, and I would not stay true to my word if I didn’t follow my instincts
when it comes to delivering to you my truest in the moment thoughts. As this blog is very much a document of my
personal journey, in hope that my experience may serve you either as an insight
or an inspiration on your own path of discovery – I always have, still am, and
always will prefer unique over repeatable.
Yes, there are elements that will guide my
choice of style, but the combination of details will forever remain in the
realm of original and unrepeatable.
The former calls on all of our imagination, on our vision and being able to unlock all
the possibilities of creating something truly special, something that is a
picture perfect of our being, which pleases us in ways that nothing else can.
The latter is a mere copy, and the satisfaction that comes from it – however
pleasing, cannot be felt as deeply, nor outlast the original feeling that
revels in the fine tuning of every detail between us and our soul.
How many of us in the world - that’s
exactly how many representations there are of a personal style - and each can
be expressed in a completely unique way. (Come to think of it, there are more
expressions of style than us, because we constantly grow into new versions of
ourselves, but let’s just settle for the point above.) So, why would we limit ourselves
to a life of no imagination, and no desire to co-create with the universe –
when that resource is available to us?
Yes, you are free to take inspiration
wherever you wish, my friend. Of course, someone else’s learned and practiced
(to the point of fine art) skill, and/or natural affinity and gift in this area
– can and should be the spark for your own imagination, but just trust yourself
that style that is as personal to you, and for you, can be created by you! The more you relax into being who you are –
the more things will reveal themselves to you. I intend to stay here and be
your witness, as you are mine – on our respective journeys.
Stay always curious to discover more, and
faithful to your desire to create.
