Overture You Can Skip (but if you want to laugh, then read on)

I wanted to title today’s post Substance Over Form, but I quickly gave that idea up just by looking underneath the surface, and peeking into the definitions of both terms in dictionary. To say that together with the word Meaning (especially when it comes to close proximity of the word Life), there are about as many philosophical concepts about these two as you can amuse yourself to imagine. However, I am little bit restricted by necessity to keep only to the essential, so as not to overwhelm both of us with unnecessary details. I am laughing hysterically as I am writing this, for what I am about to convey is simple, and I shall keep it simple – for the sanity, respect of the soul and enjoyment of life.

In the Context of 365 Days to Dream (starting on 10 March 2020)

My friend, in the midst of trying to mentally prepare for the upcoming challenge start day, I am working on recording/editing the first podcast episode with the introduction of this very topic at the outset. I have the script outline, but this is not as straight forward as pressing record button. Garageband is presenting me with its own challenge for which I have not much time, but will figure out just enough to launch this boat into the water, and then I will figure it out from there.

So, hence the subject of what is really important here. Heck, I am sure that it is far from perfect, but let’s be completely transparent – my aim with starting a podcast was nowhere near perfect. More like willing to start, having all the right energy and belief – and trusting that when you approach things from that perspective, and not let them frustrate you in any way – you stand a better chance of making it happen, of bringing it to reality. Because it’s harder to perfect a concept than it is the real thing, at least with malleable things like thoughts and mind’s works.

Even though the podcast is not part of the 365 Days to Dream challenge, it is the vehicle (one of) through which I can keep you updated on my progress, as well as connect with those of you who have expressed the wish to participate.

I love the fact that there is no formal sign up to this challenge, only a resolve to yourself that you are willing to show up for you! That’s all you need. If you stay connected with my energy, I can promise you that the needle will start moving in the direction of the desired, and so long you keep with the momentum of this powerful creative energy – you will reach your goal, just as I will.

Broader Perspective

One thing you will need to master is being flexible, in challenging your thinking and perception. You read about my goal. I don’t let any doubt or questions of ‘How’ arise – I just say to myself – It is possible, and it will happen just as all the great achievements have been done – by not giving up and by showing up to put one foot in front of the other. There is a lot to be done: to be learned, to calculate, to execute, to physically do, to document, to plan, to deliberate – and all of that is what makes is exciting – knowing that through it all a dream is being created and at the end of that journey the difference between me at the start line and me at the finish line will be astonishing, if even recognisable.

Today, I just want you to take away this one thing, my friend – if you create from the place of pure love in your heart – things will always be clear to you and to those with the same energy as you. One is within your power of control, the other comes to you naturally, as a reflection of your own state. So stay mindful about that. When it comes to reality that you live (and how you feel in that life) there is only one in charge of creating it – you!

We will allow for the imperfect, knowing that if we have presented something with pure love – the presentation will also be of the high standard – it cannot not be! So, hold on to that dream and love yourself enough to make it real. I absolutely know that you can.
