There Can Only Be The Beginning

No sooner than one painting is completed, the clean white sheet is in front of you again. It’s not so much that you start the process over, as it is a continuous upward spiral of creative energy, joy, inspiration and belonging. At every new level in life, and indeed inside every new white paper – you have to discover the skills of this new version of you.
You can apply it to life, to art, to both. The joy is timeless in the light of pure being.
I know, I know – it’s not your usual art post, but you are not talking with the usual artist, dear friend. To say that in a different, and perhaps better way: when you bring pure awareness into your presence, and to your art – you gain access to deeper levels of consciousness, and a conversation like this is no longer extraordinary, but the only one possible.
Same as love, you can’t run out of creativity. The ideas are never going to cease flowing. Not when your heart came here to create. Make sure you are aware, this is not just creating as in artist’s expression (although it is the most naturally expressive style of being), but creating as in life, realities, joy.
And I don’t intend to stop teasing you with the new work. Without giving away too much to spoil your pleasure and surprise when the whole collection is ready to be revealed, I still want to indulge you in sharing this part of the journey with you. It matters to me that you know how much I appreciate you being here with me.
There is a sacredness in the beginnings – this special relationship between you and whatever is new. You want to preserve it, you want to grace it with the best presentation of you that you can grasp, and you want to learn from the experience. To learn about you, that is.
Promise me you won’t hold yourself back from experiencing life in all its vividness. And I promise you that you will find only greatness inside.

It took superhuman effort today not to just throw myself into sorting the stuff in the bedroom. I cannot begin to tell you how much I want to do it. But I am committed to painting the new collection and have prioritised it. 365 Days to Dream – the home renovation project is a sizeable undertaking, and I thought it prudent to separate the two, for they do both deserve undivided attention. Once the comeback aquarelle painting collection is revealed, the practical side of the home renovation can commence. That is the right decision in the interest of producing the best quality work on both fronts, without the doubt – and not causing stress by overlapping them.

Today’s all-inclusive feeling is a relaxed and blissful creative energy flow. From early morning, there was just no stopping, or being in the way of this energy. It wanted to manifest into art, spirituality, writing, pure love. An amazing way to spend the day. It may not surprise you to hear that I have arrived at the most comfortable state of being so far, and I do not intend to shift from it any time soon.

Two birthdays are fast approaching. Both my kids have birthdays in May, so for us, it’s always a month of enjoying the connection we share, and spending quality time together. I love that they are active in discussing the renovation plans I have for the home and they are on board with the changes that will happen soon. It’s exciting to share the visions and imagine possibilities. I am looking forward to the coming days very much!
