Observer and the Observed

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.

Yes, you - the leading role in both. We have talked about bringing our attention and awareness to our thoughts so that we can notice and exercise a degree of mindful control by keeping the ones that serve us and make us feel good and letting go of the ones that don’t. Even being aware that our thoughts are not us and that thoughts have frequencies. Once thought – they are always and forever around, and we pick them up thinking they are our thought, but their source is often outside us.

Again, recognising to keep those that resonate with our deeper knowing, and releasing everything that is no longer helping us in our conscious moving forward with clearer understanding – by becoming a better version of ourselves today than we had access to yesterday.

Our ability to step back and feel the calm of our ocean will serve us well in every unsettled situation life presents. That is why we practice observing – noticing, taking account, being completely honest, but without judgment. At the same time as we’re observing – we are the observed, too.

Collecting details and slowing the pace enough to notice them will bring countless benefits. There is much to learn in every circumstance, but mastering the vehicle which takes you through life is the most solid foundation – upon it you can build whatever you desire. Try and build without the foundation and see what happens. Deeper joy can only be accessed with applying yourself more, giving love freely and without expectation – and to everyone just the same. What they do with it, my friend, is not your concern.

We have a choice to be pure love. Once you fully understand that this choice is something available to you – and not only forever available – this is your very calling – although the expression of it is your unique creation. There are no limits to both how much love you have inside you to give (this is supplied from the source directly and it will never cease to be – in this life or other realms – love doesn’t cease to be), nor to the number of ways it can be expressed.

It has to be all or nothing, though. Half-effort and half-attempt are not the same as giving it all without holding back and with no expectation of anything in return for the love you give.

The rewards are many, but only the brave who love this way will truly get to live free of fear, safe in the knowledge and feeling that everything that comes is meant to be; or rather it is welcome, and within it is a new chance for expansion of all there is….

* * * * The Exclusive Update – 340 Days to Dream * * * *

I wonder if I could find more reasons to be in the garden today? ;) The sky is a clear blue with fluffy white clouds at the moment and in contrast with the last two gray days – todays sunshine makes a light work of everything I was doing so far. Its great to see the purpose and intent in action. I am still moving at turtle speed with spring cleaning. Those areas that are clutter-free and easy access to all surfaces and creases (there are not many of those: bathroom, hallway and kitchen) are easy. Wait until I reach the bedroom, which is used for a multitude of different purposes – from sleeping to the meditation room, from the gym to providing storage for Indigo & Verdigris furniture collection, from the library of my daughters books (she studied English and her bookcases – floor to ceiling - have double rows of books in them) to two entire oak guest beds underneath the two single beds that are in use. I could go on, thats not even all that is in there. The good thing is that when boxes come out for cleaning, they will be sorted and the things I dont intend to keep will not go back in there. For the time being emptying the kitchen cupboards, washing cups and crystal, and organising food supplies has been more appealing this week. Thats when I wasnt in the aforementioned garden.

Note: dont worry, I will get serious about the challenging parts of the project in due course, my friend.

Feeling great and inspired to start exploring the sewing hobby. I have a few things out but will need more pieces cut before I can design the quilt and start sewing. Thinking about it while I do gardening and cleaning excites me, so I am pretty sure I will enjoy it. Also, the vision is becoming more and more vivid for opening up space. Very, very happy about that!

I know, instead of trying to figure out specifically what I will do on the 365 Days to Dream home renovation project (if you are new around here, read all about the challenge here) – as that depends on few aspects of the day and overall feeling which guides me towards choosing what I do next – there are other things I will be doing tomorrow, so might as well share them here with you: Work on the latest aquarelle painting, podcast preparation for Sundays episode, preparation for two classes next week, research around blog hosting platform, podcast hosting, and online work around the new website. Thats a few to choose from and a few that are not optional but have to be done tomorrow to stay on track with moving forward smoothly and steadily. Stay tuned, my friend. And let me know are you itching to start a project of your own. If so, please share what it is, I would love to hear your thoughts, dreams, and wins.
